Save the Sloths
Sloths inhabit Central and South American Rainforests, and are known for sleeping around 20 hours per day. Sloths have incredibly slow metabolism, and it can take them up to 30 days to digest a single leaf. These creatures possess long claws for hanging; two-toed sloths are generally larger than three-toed sloths.
Some sloth species are considered threatened whereas others are critically endangered. Sloths face habitat loss due factors such as deforestation, which poses a threat to the survival of their species in the long term.
